In 2022 the recording of the EasyEnglish New Testiment began with the Gospel of John. With no large funding, just faith, God used the voice of Clive Gray to narrate this EasyEnglish version. The Cahaya Foundation has recorded the NT and some popular Psalms to the highest professional production standards. To be shared freely with the world to enjoy.
Why read slower?
Typically audio recording of the scriptures are recorded at about 160 words per minute for native English language speakers. But God brought it to light that non-native L2 uses of the English language really appreciate it when it is clearly spoken and articulated for their ears - a more relaxed 120 words per minute.
